The car was purchased new by a local physician who cared for the car without falter. He always stored the car indoors.
The car has 85,XXX actual and original miles.
This original "Triple White" car still wears the white exterior finish along with the white soft top. Both the paint and the soft top show well.
The car is powered by the original 1600cc, 4-cylinder engine that is paired to the original 4-speed transmission. The 4-cylinder is fuel-injected.
The car rolls smoothly on the original steel wheels that are wrapped in Widetrack Radial tires with considerable tread life remaining.
The interior of the car features the original white seat coverings. I have brand new seat covers for both of the front seats that will go with the car.
The car is equipped with the factory air conditioner. The system functions but the air is not cold.
The car is equipped with a rear window defroster.
The car is equipped with a Sony stereo head unit with a cassette player.
The car runs, rides, and drives great. It's a consistent provider of worry-free enjoyment. As you likely know, 1979 was the last year that the convertible Beetle was produced worldwide. The car is nearly all original. Based on what little I know and what basic research has shown me, an original Beetle with low original mileage such as this one is hard to locate.

The car carries a clean and clear title that is ready for transfer.

The car nor the title will leave my possession until the full purchase price amount has been received in a certified payment form. I prefer cash or a wire-transfer but I will accept a cashier's check if you do not have access to the previous payment forms. A cashier's check is subject to a 7-day clearance period (my bank's policy, not mine). If you choose to ship the car, I will accommodate any shipping arrangements that you may make, but the purchaser will remain financially responsible for the entire shipping process.
