1986 Volkswagen vanagon westfalia weekender. Awesome opportunity for an affordable westfalia. I have owned this vanagon for about 5 years. In that time we have been on multiple camping trips in the mountains of Colorado and once through Utah and Arizona. It has never left us stranded or had any major mechanical failures. For being a 32 year old vehicle it is very mechanically sound. Strong running 2.1 engine with zero leaks, transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears, suspension is tight and tracks straight down road, stops great. Other than some seem rust that has started to appear, the body is almost completely rusty free. It does however have some obvious cosmetic flaws on the body. I purchased it this way, and never intended on fixing it. I will try to include pictures that show the damaged areas. The interior is in decent condition. One of the upper bunk brackets is damaged and missing, and it acquired a small tear in the rear of the pop top canvas last time we went camping. I'm sure there's plenty that I'm forgetting, it's an old vehicle, and I don't drive it every day. If you have any questions, or would like any more picture just let me know.
