1970 Original paint in Savannah beige, Bay window, transporter, VW bus for sale. This bus has been gone through from front bumper to rear bumper. No metal work needed. There are only three very small spots of rust. There is one small hole above drivers side rear wheel (shown in pictures), very small spot in battery tray (size of quarter), very small spot on front drivers side floor (a couple of pin holes). All rust including surface rust was sanded and sealed with stop rust to prevent further rusting. If this bus were to be painted it would be a complete restoration.Be sure to read the entire ad the extra set of wheels and the drive away tent are are not included in the ad. If you want to buy them it will be additional cost above auction bid.

(a new set of retractable seatbelts for the front seats including all hardware come with the bus).-New seals for all door openings come with the bus (not installed just incase you want to paint the exterior of the bus).-New engine seal installed when the new engine went in.- I also have a drive away tent that would be willing to through in for the right price.(this will need to be discussed before end of auction or it will not come withthe tent)
Professional VW shops between Colorado Springs and Denver Colorado have completed all the work to this bus. I have put about 500 miles on it to make sure there are no bugs that need to be worked out of it (there were none). I have had the break-in oil changed so it's ready to go. This bus runs great and everything works lights, speedometer, horn and even the interior light works. This is a great bus I would drive anywhere.
The bus is titled in my name with current registration and insurance. I built this bus to keep but family comes first. I have just over 28k in this bus, counting punches price, I don't expect to recuperate all my money but I will not lose my pants on it. The reserve is a good bit lower than what I have in it. I have many pictures of the build but can only post 24 so for additional pictures or information please contact me at 256-426-7817
I reserve the right to stop the auction because the bus is listed in other places as well.
