1971 VOLKSWAGEN SUPER BEETLE 1 OWNER

1971 Volkswagen Super Beetle -
My step-father drove this 1971 Super Beetle Volkswagen back and forth to work at the Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama, until his death in 2001. He was a Vietnam Veteran, Bronze Star and Purple Heart recipient and was retired from the Army. He was working as a civilian for the Army at the time of his death. My mother refurbished the Volkswagen into pristine condition. A new engine was put in the car in 2002 and since then it has only been driven occasionally in order to keep it in good working order. There are 4 new tires on the car and it was recently serviced. The car appraised in 2002 for over $18,000 and I have a copy of that appraisal. Vehicle runs and drives very well. The exterior is in good shape other than some of the clear coat is peeling.
