1974 Baja Bug Beetle Ready to Enjoy

This freshly completed Baja Bug runs and drives excellent. New white paint over a professionally installed Wide Eye Baja Kit. The engine is an 1800cc and has been completely rebuilt. A mild cam was installed during the rebuild. The pan was removed from the body and completely rebuilt with German sheet metal. The heater channels were also replaced with German sheet metal. All new carpet installed with extensive use of generic Dynamat sound deadening. The entire brake system is new and the front brakes have been upgraded to disc brakes. The pedal cluster has been rebuilt with German Olite bushings. The front beam is also rebuilt with all new German ball joints, tie rods, stabilizer, and seals/bushings. New exhaust and tires as well as numerous other new parts (see list below). The seats, headliner, and dash are original and in excellent shape.

Everything on the car works. Someone could get a bit more power out of the motor with the addition of a dual carb set but honestly the reliability and smooth idle of the 34 PICT carb with a dual advance distributer is tough to part with.

The wheels have some light surface rust in the seams they were new but were stored outside will the car was being restored.
