Awesome van. Air-cooled engine was rebuilt approximately 5,000 miles ago. Runs great. No rust. Sink, fridge, and stove all work. Fridge only works on propane and AC. Only selling because we were not able to use it as much as we would like to, and we hate to see it sit. Good tires and brand new batteries. Only about 55K miles total. VIN number is correct. This is a pre-1981 vehicle, and so itdoes not have a modern 17 digit VIN.
Buyer is responsible for local pick-up and shipping. If paying with Cashier's Check or money order,possession of vehicle will not be turned over until my bank verifies that the funds have cleared. UPDATE/ANSWERS TO RECENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
The paint is not original. It was painted sometime before the previous owner. There is no rust readily apparent, but it is not the greatest paint job. There are a couple of runs in the paint (see photo).
The previous owner said that the engine was rebuilt due to the length of time the van had sat without running prior to his purchase. I do not have receipts for this rebuild.
The picture of the canvas is with the top partially up. We have it parked under a carport that is too short to fully raise the top. There are no tears or holes, but there is some discoloration of the canvas given its age (see photo).
