1985 Volkswagen Vanagon GL 125,372 Actual Miles, Manual Transmission.
This was my friend Doc's Vehicle. He was diagnosed with three types of cancer. So, he needs money more than his Vanagon he treasures. This one will go to the highest bidder with NO RESERVE!!! I hope whoever buys this also loves it as much as Doc does.
The van shows some surface rust that is just that. It would easily come off and nothing at all is rusted through or coming close to rusting through. It is a very solid vehicle. If you look at the undercarriage and the wheel wells you will find them to be very solid. I have included pics.
There was an engine fire but the engine ran and drove prior to it catching fire. It didnt burn too long before the fire was put out. The interior of the vehicle is very nice and I do not see any rips or tears in the seats headliner or carpet to mention. The slider seems to open and close very freely. It seems to be very original and has almost new tires on it.
I do have a Subaru drive train that could come with the bus. Please ask if you are interested, I am not asking much for the engine and transmission. $300.00
If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Also, if you are having it shipped I will help the transporter on my side but you are responsible for organizing the transporter to the vehicle. I can also let it sit here for a little bit while you make a home for it. Please ask if it will be more than a week,.
I thank you and Doc thanks you for your bids!!!!
