Car description |
---|
For auction is a 1973 Volkswagen Standard Beetle with the Baja kit installed. This was a project, and now is time to go to make room for the next. The front seats are not original to the car, but I believe they are an older Volkswagen pair of seats that are in nice condition. It needs very little left to be a drive able car. It runs and does move and stop. The brakes need attention - there is a new master cylinder, but I am having issues bleeding the system, and there are some wiring needs because of the baja kit needing different lights and since the car was apart the rest of the electrical stuff should be verified. The engine has been professionally rebuilt - there is a Canadian rebuild tag on the case, and I took the valve covers off to paint and it was very nice and clean inside. There has been some panel work, but the heater channels are in very good condition and we chose the header style to still connect the heat since the heat exchangers looked useable as well. It does have a nice set of vintage Jackman wheels on it as well. Additionally the id number on the title matches the pan and dash tag.
I will assist in the shipping process if you are not local.
I'm sure I am missing some things so ask any and all questions. And I will try to add some interior pictures later today - they seemed to have vanished from my camera. Thanks for viewing and good luck!
