Car description |

If you are a VW purist this is not for you. I built this bus for functionality all the way. It is a 1974 Bay window with the heart of a 2005 Subaru Impreza Ej25. It puts out around 140hp reliably. It has been my daily driver for a year now but with three kids I need something that can fit us all.
This engine is water cooled by two Honda radiators in the rear bay. it has never overheated on me. It has a KEP adaptor plate, custom flywheel and clutch to make the connection. Custom crossmember, throttle body reverser, exhaust and entire wiring harness by Busaru. The gauge cluster is out of the Impreza as well but there are some finish work that needs to be done.
I had a priorities list. Mechanical, interior, then exterior. I got to most of the mechanical but cannot take it all the way. Original blue color just needs waxed and it will shine up. Some rust spots but no cancer. you cannot see them very well but it comes with General grabber 2's the largest tires you can fit but also have smaller tires. I also have brand new rear Monroe air shocks to be installed. New uphostery. the bench seat folds down to a bed.
I love this bus but my loss is your gain. 12,000.
