A unique Brazilian Convertible model in US!It is a 1978 flat-window made in Brazil, because that country never produced the rounded windshield as German/Mexican models -VW has a factory in Brazil and this was made and restored in Sao Paulo, Brazil, to achieve the look displayed here!
Restored in 2010 and brought 2 years ago to enjoy South Florida!Always Garaged and covered!
A/C and original VW deflector installed before shipped to US and cools perfectly - serviced and revised 2 month ago!
Top was well done and seals perfectly! When closed it doesn't make any kind of noise, but the regular sound from the original air-cooled engine.
Engine is new and has 18,500 kms on it (around 11,000 miles). Double carburetor as done in Brazilian models!
All work was done in Brazil and car is perfect as shown on pictures.
Details as MOTO-LITA wooden steering wheel, customized wooden stick-shift - as well as trunk carpet cover.
Color is a Jaguar Dark Green - chosen to match the leather beige interior!
