Here is a beautiful example of the much sought after 1971 VW Bus. In beautiful candy red. The 1971 vw bus was the first year with disc brakes. Over the years I have personally owned over 20 of these and learned the ins and outs of what to look for and how to have them best renewed. This bus started out as a true gem. I will give concise detail and feel free to ask questions also.

This classic example spent most of its life in the Pacific Northwest and is very solid. Now, that being said it has still been refurbished and restored and we have those records. The only rust issue which is common to all of these older buses is we had to cut out and install a brand new battery tray and weld in 2 small size factory stamped front floor sections so that has been fixed with correct grade metal and not just bondo or fiberglass filled. Once those repairs were made the bus was completely painted and clear coat applied inside and out.
This bus is a classic and comes with brand new custom seating. The seats have hounds tooth sunbrella strength material inserts on all seating areas so you're not going to stick to vinyl on hot days. This truly is a wonderful find and will make someone the perfect investment. The entire bus inside and out was repainted and is beautiful with the extra protective clear coat finish applied~ $6700.
