You won't see a bus like this everyday!! This 1959 Volkswagen bus features loading doors on both sides. It has been stripped down to bare bones and everything has been replaced or rebuilt including the motor, transmission, wiring, glass (safari windows in the front) and wheels in the last five years. Everything is in good working order, the paint has a few minor scratches (see picture of the bumper). Body is rust free aside from a tiny bit of cover rust on a few of the exterior door hinges. The interior is partially unfinished. A custom birch headliner and a set of uncovered door panels will come with the bus. The rear bench seat is a rock and roll bed from just campers and it just needs to be upholstered. The bus comes with tons of extra parts including: roof rack, VW mud flaps, a really cool vintage style radio (needs to be installed), an original owners manual, and a birth certificate from The Stiftung AutoMuseum. This is truely a rare find and has been a six year project for me. Feel free to email with any questions you may have.
