1973 Bus with Automatic and a complete 1.7L motor. I purchased two automatics as part of a package in South Dakota and I am keeping one that has a sunroof.This is a very clean, no structural rust bus. It is complete except for a middle seat. It has a clean title from South Dakota. Engine and transmission are NOT installed in the bus, they are located inside.
A 35 year VW mechanic can install the engine and transmission for around $2500 - $3,000 which will get the bus running and driving; to include all lights, brakes, trans and engine. It is at a shop where it can be painted and the interior restored and a middle seat added if you like.
