Description

This is one Fantastic Camper Van! She is a 1977 Riviera Camper (the top goes straight up). We had a new short block engine built from scratch in 2014 by John Davis in Mancos, CO (look him up - Amazing!) New clutch, brakes, shocks, tires at that time. Dual Webers, this van is quick - the kind that goes 65mph up hills. The interior upholstery was re-done in 2014. The paint is faded, but it looks awesome! The van is not rusty other than a really cool patina here and there. There are blemishes, but that adds to the character (for us at least). Bamboo wood floors, an oven, stove, sink, ice-box... it is a great camper and a solid vehicle. We have driven her to the California coast with no problems whatsoever. Lots of summer campouts andmemories to last a life time. Only things that need attention: the shifter bushings are worn so shifting takes some practice, the tent is old, and the heater box cables are frozen. The heater boxes themselves are new but you have to wire them open or closed from the outside. Other than that, she's a dream. A job change necessitates this sale, I would keep this camper van forever if I could. This is being re-listed, the last "buyer" flaked-out. Be a conscientious bidder. Please ask questions!
