Car description |
---|
1954 Oval window (January 54 production date), numbers matching body & pan with clear title, and last year of the semaphore car so no bullet turn signals on the front fenders. Missing parts but all the significant items are there. Original color looks to be L11 Pastel green from the interior and under the hood. Let me know if you have any questions, reasonable offers considered. Before you spend thousands of $ repairing rust and heater channels on your 53, 54, or 55 consider buying this car and moving your parts over. I have been offered $2,00 for the fenders, hood, and decklid but am not willing to part the car out, its all or nothing.
The Good
Numbers matching 54 (body and pan)
Clear title (recently issued) and WA state collector platesPeriod Correct Ribbed Doors
Original Front fenders with tubes in good condition
Heater channels and body in general are fairly rust free and in great shape
Original (I believe) W Decklid
3 of the 4 wheels look to be period correct
Believe front beam is original but haven't checked #s
Batwing steering wheel and column
Floorpans appear to be original and in decent shape, few small holes on the fwd passenger section
Front apron/spare tire well looks to be in very good shape
The Bad
Missing the semaphores, motor, and interior
Front and rear bumpers, hood (3 tab), and tranny aren't period correct
Left rear was hit up high (to the left of the louvers on the body under the oval window)
W decklid is a little wrinked near the top left corner
Minor discrepancy in title, title says LC592720, VIN is 1-0592720. Can be corrected pretty easily
Rear apron was trimmed for peashooter clearance and has a few wrinkles
Someone added turn signal housings on top of the original front fenders
