Unfortunately I am moving and need to sell my 1966 classic Beetle.

Previous owner years ago swapped out the engine to AE 080894, which lists as a 1600cc 60hp from 1970.
They also installed duel carbs and added some full windows and side mirrors. I installed new interior carpets and headliner when I installed a new wiring harness a few years ago.
As with most Bugs it is always a work in progress. But that’s is what is great about these classics, this was my third Bug!
Known Issues• No horn installed, button mission to steering wheel ( wires are run )• A few minor body dents o Hood o Right rear fender• Paint faded/chipped in a few areas (all minor)• High Beam switch not working• No glove box insert (door is there) or radio.• Some carpet adhesive need to be reapplied ( back “trunk” )• No interior light / license plate light• Right window crank adaptor stripper for handle• Speedometer is around 10 mph off (needs a rebuild)• Down Shifting is tricky (probably needs some synchro work)• Missing key to passenger side door (different key from driver side)• Steering wheel has a small amount of play and needs to be adjusted
Other than these issues listed it runs well for sitting in my garage for a few years.
