Alas, I must part ways with the lovely Buttercup, as much joy and adventure as she has brought me ('you mock my pain!' bonus points if you get the reference)
The good:
2013 New GoWesty 2200cc engine put in by Karmakanix in Berkeley in 2013. It has less than 3,000 miles on that engine.Automatic transmission.Water-cooled.
I had a Some minor body work by right side rear tire. Buttercup has been well-cared for in the 9 years I have owned her. When I bought her in '08, she had 225,304 miles on original engine. She is currently at 253,456. Less than 30,000 miles in 9 years! I have a recent inspection report from Buslab in Berkeley, detailing what she needs - as with all classic cars, there is always something - but, nothing big on the horizon. You can review their notes, and they know her well, so they'd probably be able to talk with you about the report. I have all of the work I've had done documented, you can have all that info.
Nifty extra stuff: Rainfly for pop-top. Coleman propane space heater for cold winter mornings. Comes with grommet-attached screen for back hatch window and two front windows for airflow during warm/hot camping. Sink, stove and frig are fully operational. Captain/swivel chairs. Original stereo, tapedeck. You can have the converter I have so you can play music from phone or other device. The canvas on the pop-top is in fair condition.
The bad:
I removed original brown carpeting from kitchen/back area, if you want the carpets I have in there, you are welcome to them. Some of the interior wall covering is starting to crack. The light in the center top area is broken.
The ugly:
Previous owners glued maps to inside sliding door. I painstakingly removed all the drips of glue, but, it's not terribly pretty. No AC.
