For sale is a chocolate brown, manual 1986 Westfalia Wolfsburg Edition Vanagon Weekender we call Rolo. We are the third owners; we bought him from a seller in Oklahoma and drove him back to Seattle. Previously, he had been located in California. Our family has now increased in number and we no longer fit (it seats six), so it is time to sell.
We have had most everything replaced or upgraded in the few years that Rolo has been a part of our family. He has no rust and original paint. All of the work was done by George and Jason Wakita at Porbug Repair in Edmonds, Washington. If you are a Vanagon owner and live anywhere in the Pacific Northwest, you have likely heard of Porbug. They do excellent work and are extremely honest and fair. The van just got back from their shop getting a new gas tank, idle regulator and fuel pump that, with all the other upgrades, make it a dependable vehicle that is ready for adventure.
Below follows a partial list of the work that has been done, and the accessories we have purchased through Van Cafe, Go Westy, the Bus Depot, Fiamma, and Sewfine.
New gas tank, idle regulator and fuel pump.Rebuilt 2.1L engine with approximately 5,000 miles on it.Upgraded tire and wheel kit.All new fuel lines. All new window seals.3-point retracting seat belts (so all seats have shoulder harness).Three headrests on bench seat. All new upholstery and curtains.Windshield cover with window screens.Three-window pop-top canvas and attachable rainfly.Floor carpet and German rubber mats."Vanobag" luggage rack cargo bag.New battery and second deep cell battery.Go Power! (GPRV-155) 155 watt solar charging kit with 30 amp controller.Fiamma F45S awning, 10-foot, in titanium.Fiamma tie down and ground stake plate kits.Snow cables.South African front and rear wheel flaps.Wind and rain window deflectors.Fluorescent light fixture and auxiliary power outlets.Shifter base kit.Sliding window screens.Dash cover.Ultratect car cover.Upper bunk ladder.Fiamma Magnum level system ramps and chocks.Basic automotive tool kit.Electrical diagnostic and repair kit.Center console.Manual window regulator.Rear hatch strut.Pop top lift assist strut kit.
This is a well-tuned vehicle, ready for the open road!
