1993 Volkswagen Eurovan GL with under 15,000 original miles.
**Better photos and a video walk around / test drive will be added during the week**
Van is disability equipped with remote control lift for wheelchair, power sliding side door, power drivers seat all positions including revolving (to go from wheelchair to drivers seat) and hand controls for gas and brake pedals. Van can still be driven conventionally as well.
Purchased just over a year ago from the estate of the original owner, this van has lived its whole life in a climate controlled garage. It was driven sparingly - hence the mileage.
Vehicle is literally a time capsule. It runs and drives excellent. Aside from a few minor cosmetic flaws that you will see, you'd think you were back in 1993! No cosmetic repairs / paintwork have been preformed - flaws are minor and would be cheap to repair (worst is ding in the drivers' door) but I dont want it to seem as anything was being hidden.
I have had quite a bit of servicing done, including:All new timing belt and component kit - all German quality parts from FCP Euro, lifetime warrantySerpentine belt and all idlers / pulleysBrand new AC compressor (Denso made in Japan) and system recharge (have original - it works)New battery with a 5 year transferable warrantyAll five fuel injectors and seals replaced to Bosch premium revised designSet of four Uniroyal tires and front end alignmentMobil 1 synthetic oil changeSpark plugs x5Fuel filter (Mann)Alternator bearings replaced (maintenance)Always run on 93 octane gas since I started driving it
Van has ZERO leaks of any kind, nor use oil. Never had leaks either. The bottom of the oil pan has factory undercoating, it only shows on the bottom as the belly pan hid the rest (since reinstalled after photos)
Never used during bad weather / salt season / snow. VERY clean underneath.
Many of the parts replaced were strictly done out of maintenanceI have ALL original parts that were replaced - including the tires, which have no dry rot at all (I found that rather surprising given the age)
Everything works just as it should! All the power windows, lock actuators, cruise control, air conditioning is ice cold, hot heat, original stereo that sounds nice, and all the handicap equipment.
Only issue is i cannot get the rear a/c to turn on. Not sure if it is a separate system, may need a charge? Front works excellent.
Last fall I took the van on a road trip back and fourth to Connecticut to pick up an engine - it did great! Lift is very strong and capable.
I will be adding better photos and a more detailed description later on this week. Weather wasn't on my side and I feel these current photos do not do the van justice.
This van starts right up and runs great, transmission engages gear quickly and shifts properly. It goes down the road smoothly with no issues.
You are WELCOMED and ENCOURAGED to see the van for yourself! It is truly in very nice shape.
New owner must be prepared to stop and talk to people about the van, I can't go anywhere without people asking about it. It's in such great shape that everyone notices.
