1965 VOLKSWAGEN VW BEETLE BUG CONVERTIBLE - 1200cc ENGINE - BODY/PAN MATCHING NUMBERS
TWO FRIENDS JUST FINANCED THEIR CLASSIC VW BUS with these two lenders.woodsidecreditandjjbest
This car starts right up with the new carburetor, fuel pump, distributor and coil along with recent tune-up. It stops well with new brakes and drums and drives down the street with 5 new tires. The interior is in nice condition and the convertible top has no rips or tear but the interior liner does have 4 rips that can be patched. All windows and doors work just fine and a new pedal assembly has been installed. All lights and blinkers work fine as well.
There has been some usual rust repair completed on the pan (see pics). Previous owner updated with high back seats; original seat frames come with car along with the original owners manual and a New Car Cover. I just had a 35 year VW Master Mechanic go through the car and adjust the valves, timing and carburetor and give it a once over. He also confirmed that even though it says "1300" on the rear it is truly a 1200cc.
I purchased to restore but I am selling many of my cars now to help fund my daughters college tuition.
