I decided to close my business in November of last year after 45½ years. I am selling this excellent 1966 Volkswagen beetle as a private collector. This VW is a 1300 series that has been restored throughout. The paint is rich looking and of excellent quality. The chrome bumpers look great and are complete with bumper guards. The lights and lenses all look as new. The rear fenders are unique flared aftermarket ones which give the car a subtle performance look. The wheels also have been changed to a much wider wheel with like new radial tires. All of the glass is great however the windshield has a small rock chip. There are no cracks in the glass and the rubber seals are new. The interior has been totally restored and as you will see in the pictures looks show car quality. The engine has a new fuel pump, starts easily and runs like a VW. The accelerator is a bit stiff. There are new shocks and new brakes. You will like the way it drives. Now the important part, the undercarriage is rust free with absolutely no rust in the floor pan. I did not take pictures underneath but if you need to see I probably can text some to you. This is the best rust free VW that I have seen that my budget could afford so count on getting the right one. Couple of late thoughts - the electrical system has been upgraded to 12 volts and the person I got the VW from had the rear fenders (original ones) but that was 6 months ago. He lives below Nashville. Thanks for looking and good luck on bidding - you can own this one. Please call (859-533-8238) or email with any questions.
