Up for sale, is a very nice 1989 Volkswagen Vanagon Wolfsburg Edition "WHITESTAR" this is a TRUE survivor and is one of the cleanest ones I've seen in a long long time.
Original Pastel White paint, AC retrofitted to R-134A, Power Mirrors & Locks, NEW Yokohama Load-Rated Tires, New Pioneer CD Player, Battery, New Brakes, New Belts, New Spark Plugs. Recent Oil Change. This vehicle is equipped with Dual Removable Rear-Facing Jump Seats, Fold-Out Dining Table, Fold-Out Rear Queen Bed. It has the original books and manuals that came with it. It is also equipped with a professionally installed Receiver Tow Hitch.
This Vanagon starts and drives real nice, with no undue noises or vibrations. The 4-speed transmission shifts smooth with no grinds or crunching. The suspension rides nice and solid. It steers straight. The engine runs strong and smooth, and does not seem to have any leaks or drips.
The body is nice and straight, with a few very tiny non-noticeable dings here and there consistent with being a 28 year old car. The original factory Pastel White paint is still nice and glossy. Being a Southern California car, it has no major rust issues except a tiny dime-sized spot at the lower edge of the Rear window and another tiny scratch on one of the rain gutters probably from installing Surf racks at some point. The left Rear bumper end has some minor cracking on the lower edge not really visible unless you look up from under the car.
Overall, this is a very sharp looking Vanagon and a very nice survivor of automotive history.
This is a Southern California car, purchased New in Ventura CA.

*. * Replaced ALL the Fuel Lines in the Engine Compartment with new German made Fuel Lines and Hose Clamps, and noticed that this engine is equipped with AMC Cylinder Heads, indicating that the engine was worked on at some point.
