Up for Sale is a 1970 VW Luxury Bus Safare Custom Camper. The engine is running in excellent condition. It's with no rust. The bus includes 99.9% authentic German components. Genuine Vw extra reinforcement (Belly floor) was installed. You'll also find a full-length closet and an abundance of storage space for all the things you need.Here are some more details:
EXTERIORGlass is all original (Vw and PPG safety solid tempered) except for the shadow windshield which is new. New Rubber seals on all doors and windows. All trims and emblems are Vw originals. New turnlights, tailgate. Ghost lights are original Hella. All locks and door handles work. State of California and Safare Custom Camper badges with serial numbers dated from 11-2-1971 were carefully cleaned. The bumpers are original. The step pads are new. The sliding door and door lock works perfectly, all original. Original 14 "alloy wheels and new Tires Hankook Optimo H724 195 / 75r14 (original size).
HIGH ROOFThis is a camping bus with high roof. Do not have to mess with pop ups or replacing canvas. The fiberglass high top was well cleaned, painted and seal replaced.
ELECTRICAll original transistor Vw radio, interior lights, and horn. The battery 12 v cold cranking Amp 650 is working perfectly. Working good.
BODYBus Body Panels are rust free. No bond in panels. Evercoat Metal Glaze Ultra, PLASTIK HONEY and Alkali Resistant Primer. Ultra 7000® Premium Refinish. Our experienced automotive paint technician did an excellent job. We use the original L620 Savannah Beige color base and 3 hands of Sherwin Williams CC930- ULTRA 7000® urethane clear coat designed to deliver the maximum in appearance.
BRAKESNew Brakes, master cylinder, pads, rear shoes and cylinders. Hand brake works well.
TRANSMISSIONFour speed synchromesh transmission, positive steering, power assisted disc brake and four wheel independent torsion suspension.

I had the cushions, headliner and two toned interior panels re-upholstered with imported vinyl from Wolfsburg store that match to original (basket weave seat material, headliner chalk white). New propane 1 burner stove (includes original propane tank big enough for a six week vacation). New emerson energy saver fridge. Original Sink with new hand pump faucet and storage tank. New custom made wood folding table, closets and cabinets. New premium laminated high durability floor. The carpet and curtains are new.
