GOOD PAINT, FUEL INJECTION KARMANN BODY MODEL, VERY SOLID BODY AND FLOOR PAN

1976 Volkswagen Beetle convertible in great original condition with low miles. This car was repainted a brighter color of yellow by the original owner butother than that it is unchanged fromfactory original including thetop and interior. The seats have firm foam and are very comfortable. The motor runs reallygood and there is no play in themain pulley wheel.The transmission itself works great except it seems like it could use new shifter linkage bushings or adjustment because it is a hard going into thegears sometimes. It could use a couple things done to it but other than that it is a really nice car.Its a veryhonest example of an original 1976 VW Beetle Karmann body convertible. I will list out the positives and negatives or things that need to be done to the car. Car comes with a new set of seat covers for front and back seats.

POSITIVES:

Low original miles

Great original condition motor, trans, interior

very solid car good body

runs and drives nice, breaks work good,

Brand new battery and starter motor connections and ground cleaned

New fuel pump

Comes with a full set of new seat covers

NEGATIVES:

driver side door needs adjusting

Fuel smell in cab when driving. It needs new vent lines on the gas tank and possibly around the motor, its a common problem with these cars.

Shifter linkage needs some attention but the trans is good

Itcould use an alignment andat least one tie rod or other suspension parts. It has avibration at highway speed

two small isolated rust spots on back of floor pans.

The paint has some flaws but is good for driver quality
