IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A READY TO GO (SHOW AND GO) EARLY BUG, HERE IS YOUR CHANCE. Here we have a very solid and great driver 1955 VW Bug that looks awesome and is very usable with its 1641cc and highway geared transaxle powerplant. It does have the ORIGINAL 1955 PAN and is titled as such with the VW Birth Certificate, and even has the rare Early Ribbed Doors, so the car is a great play on Original and Modernized. The Dash is uncut and still has the Blaupunct Radio, and the interior is very nice and functional with the Bright Red and Satin Black playing very well together. This car has some driver blemishes from actually enjoying the car, but all is minimal and the car stands out at the local VW Meets, so it is very nice and solid driver that pops and is ready to enjoy as it is, but it could easily go back to original if the new owner wanted to do so being that the car is Not Cut Up for appearances with the mods being Bolt On's. I also have the original style wheels and the original front torsion bar setup that the new adjustable setup replaced replaced for stance and style, and it was installed with the original suspension and brakes that all works great and drives great. The car cruises 70mph with no issue at all, so it just sings down the road without missing a beat and gathering Thumbs Up every mile doing so. . . The interior in the car is Very Very Nice and really pops with the satin black, and it is very comfortable on long drives, so this car was built to show and drive. The original radio is in the uncut dash, and it currently doesn't have modern head unit in the car, but there is a nice speaker box and amp setup mounted behind the back seat, so it is wired and ready for a nice stereo system also. . . The original pan is as close to rust free as you can get with a minimal rust spot on the passenger floorboard that is honestly not worth repairing for a driver car due to it being small and not even a weak spot. The 1955 Pan has not been repaired over the years or ever needed to be changed, so this is a real 1955 versus a 1955 body on a title 60's or 70's registered pan. The original early Ribbed Doors are very solid and are rust free at the bottom, plus I just installed new door weatherstripping in the original rust free door channels that holds it all in place. The Heater is Funtional and works as good as it should, and that is due to all the body heater channels being solid and in great shape, but I still struggle to see how the German's did it way back then in the extreme cold? while in 30's here in Southern Oklahoma, the car keeps it comfortable if you are cruising the highway, and I am sure that is about as good as the factory system works. . . I do have this car recently list elsewhere, so the auction could end at any time without warning, so please feel free to make REALSITIC OFFERS, and I will end the auction early for the right price.
