Classic mostly original Beetle from California.

Well kept Beetle from California. It runs and looks well as a daily driver, i.e. not show condition or perfect. Opportunities are always there for improvements to show your pride of ownership. There are a few of these Beetles out there still, but much fewer unmolested originals.
Former lady owner put vehicle in storage over 4 years ago. For California buyers, registration expired on Dec. 15, 2012. After it was renovated out of storage, it had received new dash, battery, tires, starter solenoid, electrical relays, and other new parts as needed. May need generator soon ($52 Parts Geeks.)Engine and transmission are original with relatively low miles, ..... quite simple and a fun car to own and drive. Starts right up first time. Accelerates and shifts smoothly 4 gears. Brakes are solid. Steering is quick and limber. Interior is virtually virgin as can be seen in the pictures. Heater control levers and hardware, windows, doors, locks, glass, parking brake are all complete and intact. Rust blisters next to rear windshield are shown in one picture. Starter switch is hidden for anti-theft. New ignition switch is included in glove box. Trunk stores trims, spare tire and extra parts.
