Classic Karmann Volkswagon Beetle

This 1979 Volkswagen “Karmann" Beetle Convertible is the real deal! Cars like this were unique in their day to say the least but now, when in such good shape, they are really are quite a find. Any VW or “Bug” enthusiast will be very happy with this classic and nostalgic vehicle. The "Karmann" convertible means that the vehicle was manufactured in Germany. Both the '78 and '79 Karmann Beetles are considered the best of the first generation.

This car is really fun to drive; it has the original 1.6 liter Fuel Injected VW four cylinder engine and is running well. The previous owner performed an engine rebuild and mileage has been low since, so the engine is in very good condition for the age of vehicle. The vehicle is garaged kept as evidenced by its condition. We have not added any additional miles to vehicle since this was a nostalgic, not a necessary purchase. It has a smooth four speed manual transmission which runs very well. The white convertible top is in great condition. The original interior is also in excellent condition with white front bucket seats with factory headrests, original white rear bench seat, floor mats, steering wheel, door panels and the original dash.

This Beetle also has some modern touches including a Sony Xplode AM/FM CD stereo with aftermarket speakers. It has the factory chrome exterior mirrors, factory rear window defroster for the Glass rear window, a good heater and defroster and original seat belts.
