Up for sale is a gorgeous 1951 Split Window Beetle Sedan in a beautiful Black beige cloth combo. Car was restored about 2 years ago and has treated us well. This Split has the rare 1 year only crotch coolers and was restored back to period stock. The paint job on this split is near flawless, definitely better than what it would have been from factory, it is art on wheels. PLEASE look at all the pics in this auction, lots of time, effort, blood, sweat, and tears went into restoring this spectacular bug along with the ad in this auction. Everything is here for you, many many pics are in a Full Photo Album HERE, and a FULL Motion video showing the Bug in HD is above. The engine was completely rebuilt from ground up: This Bug was accepted to the 2015 Greenwich CT Concours D' Elegance (Winner), the Ramapo NJ Concours (Winner), the The Limerock CT Concours, the Hemmings Concours in Saratoga NY, you can see it in the latest Issue of Hemmings, Dec 2016. This car has been driven to and from car shows two to three hours at a time, I would not hesitate to drive her to Cali from NY. After every drive she is stored in a climate controlled environment. The body and chassis are incredibly dry, all panels, floors, fenders, hood, decklid, rockers, and doors are rust and rot free. This was a complete body off rotisserie restoration on this beauty with a powder coated underside.
