1967 Volkswagen Sunroof Beetle - Java Green Cal Look BRM - VW Empi Radio

1967 Beetle with Factory Sunroof. Painted in original color (Java Green). I purchased this vehicle from the original owner 20 years ago. The bug went through a complete body off restoration in 2008. Everything has been properly restored. Since the restoration, have only driven the bug locally ~300-400 miles. It has been stored inside and never driven in the rain or snow. There is no rust. Chassis: New floor pans. CB Performance 4 wheel disc brakes. Flat 4 BRM wheels. New front axle with adjustable ride height. New ball joints, heel bearings, eals, ie rod ends, rake lines, aster cylinder. I also installed adjustable rear swing arms (lowered). Powertrain: (engine and transmission built by Mike @ Precision Engineered Performance) 1835cc engine with dual Weber 40IDF carbs (estimated 115hp)9 to 1 compression, ntake matched to heads, erman Kolbenschmidt bearings, ene berg oil pump, ugpack 4062 cam, ugpack 3/8 aluminum push rods, olid rocker shaft kit with Porsche style swivel foot valve adjusters. 009 Bosch distributor, 700lb Kennedy Pressure plate, 1.5 quart gene berg sump.J Pipes (no heater boxes) Transmission was a "new" rebuild by Mike. Installed Transmission straps. Gene Berg Short Throw Shifter with new bushings. Body: New heater channels and new front clip (sheet metal). Body was media blasted to remove original paint. Epoxy primer and multiple coats of single stage Java Green paint color matched to original. The paint was wet sanded and looks beautiful. Comes with aftermarket Flat 4 roof rack with wood slats. All new German chrome, ubber seals, tc.. German Euro taillights. Original rear pop out windows. Factory crank sunroof with all new seals, orks great. Includes very rare 1967 rear convertible decklid (1 year only).

Interior: All new seat upholstery, arpet and headliner to match original color scheme. Includes very rare EMPI AM radio (no speaker installed). Restored original steering wheel. Battery and oil temp gauges. VDO Tachometer.3 Point front seatbelts (no rear seatbelts)

Other: I have the original rear deck lid in Java Green to match.

Additional Notes:The emergencyflashers do not work. The horn is unplugged because it sometimes honks in a corner.The paint is in excellent condition, ut may have a couple very small paint chips on the hood (pin size). The deck-lid uses a prop rod to hold it up but I have the original spring if that is preferred. Engine runs strong. Rear bumper has original chrome. It is in great condition but has some pitting on the outer corners.
