(The bus runs, rives, hifts, erfect).COOLING SYSTEM-This bus has a large remote oil cooler mounted between the frame rails and a high flow electric fan that runs of a dual battery system. This is a pretty trick set up. This is a must for driving in the summer time or in hot weather climates. This set up was built for hot summer driving in California. Thisoil cooling systemadds years to the life of your motor, ot to mention the piece of mindand the reliability factor....Suspension- The van was professionally lowered for the perfect stance. The van still has plenty of ground clearance. Newer brakes, epacked wheel bearings, new tie rod ends. With the addition of the built motor, owered stance, actory dics brakes this van handles more like a car and does not have the typical swaying feelof the typical VW bus. The under carriage is dry and clean, actory undercoating is in good condition. Custom built heavy duty trailer hitch that is bolted directly to the frame. This van will tow a small trailer with a ATV, amp gear, ct. no problem. The heater works awesome and does not have the typical (engine smell). Nice Pioneer Premiere CD player stealthily mounted under the dash. Nice 6x9 speakers in rear as well as aspeaker mounted in factory under dash location. The bus is fully wired for a amp and subwoofers if you choose that is pre wired to run of aux battery.There is a portable food cooler that is hidden under the jump seat.This is the one to have... 1971 was the last year for the bug style (upright)motor, ast year for the low light early bumper body style and first year of the factory disc brakes.... With the rebuilt performance 1776 motor, uspension and brake work this bus runs and drives more like a car than a bus. The additional power from the upgraded rebuilt motor andlowered stancemake this bus perfect for highway and long distance driving. So much work went into this bus its difficult to list every thing that has been done. Hundreds of man hours and thousands of dollars went into the build of this bus. This is truly one of the nicest early bay window campers on the market today. I am regretfully selling to fund other another unfishedproject. This bus can be used as a daily driver orforcarshows.
