You are bidding on a 1971 Volkswagen Karman Ghiaconvertible. This car starts and runs well. I purchased it from a gentleman 3 years ago, ho stated he was the second owner and that it had not been wrecked. It was repainted white from the original yellow color. I am selling because we do not drive it much and Ihave other antique cars I spend more time with. That being said, t starts up readily whenever I have driven it and takes mearound town, o problem. The car has always been garagedandfuel treated and winterized. No water leaks with the top, ut I have never driven it in the rain-but have washed/waxed it without water leaking inside. Glass window is in good shape. Allgauges work, xcept the clock ticks, ut does not keep time. Radio works, ut i do not believe it is original. When it was repainted, vintage" bulletlights were placed in the front instead ofthe rectangular or square ones normally seen on a 1971 KG. (see pics) I invite you to look at and test drive the car before bidding. If you are not comfortable bidding on this car without seeing it or driving it first, lease DO NOT BID. Non refundable $500 deposit required within 48 hours of auction end via PayPal. The balance by cash, ire transfer or certified bank check within 7 days of auction ending. If more time is needed, ossible alternative arrangements may be made if acceptable to me. Title/car will be released when check/wire transfer clears the bank. Pick up or shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Please keep in mind this car is 44 years old, t is not new nor is it completely restored, ut it is in great shape, ery drivable condition, eeds no immediate work just someone who wants todrive it!!!Please feel free to contact me if you have questions.
