Selling a 1978 VW Beetle Convertible that a good friend and I have been working on for the past couple months. The car was owned and garaged by the previous owner for 10+ years and only driven on fair weather days. Prior to their ownership the car underwent some restoration. Have a decent stack of paperwork showing repairs and parts purchased. Previous owners also had the new top installed. Although the resto work was done some years ago it still shows well. With my ownership in the past few months the the fuel system was cleaned out, ll new breather and vacuum hoses replaced. Oil change and tuned. Brakes were taken apart and all hard lines blown out and new fluid in the system. Also replaced soft lines, heel cylinders and shoes. Brakes work great. The electrical system all works and the car runs good. On the interior the carpets are real nice along with door panels and brand new front seat covers. The floors, eat channels and vert support rails are solid as a rock. No rust to be found on the entire car. Also no signs of prior body work or accidents at all. The paint shines well but is not perfect. There are some chips and wear as you can see in the pics along the drivers door edge and near the drivers roll down window. At some point someone added the turbo mirrors instead of the stock ones. The top is really nice without tears and has the glass rear window. This is a great example of a driver vert beetle that will put smiles on your face as well as others around you. Clear Washington State Title in hand. If you are local and want to come take a look in person give me a call 509-438-8649 to set up a showing.
