Selling a 1968 VW camper bus that is a German import and still wears the original dealer tag on rear hatch. This bus is in overall good shape and has been fitted with all new window seals, indow whiskersand weather stripping for alldoors, ear hatch and motor lid. The front floor pans have been replaced at some point in the past as well as the battery tray. Thejalouse windows open and close easy but oneknob is broken off. Has all original westfalia interior including ice box and sink water tank. The front seats have been recovered and new door panels installed as well as rear side panels and headliner. Interior floor painted within past two yearswhile interior was out of the bus.Pop top goes up and down properly. Roof rack included with sale of bus.
The bus has a Womacks adjustable front beam installed which allows you to change ride height. The 1600 DP motor runs well and shifts through all gears with ease. Alignment wasperformed on the bus within the last 6 mths. All brakes were gone through within the past year and bus stops well. The body of the bus is extremely solid and was rattle can painted atsome point in the past. There's a few areas on the body where you can seethat it was sanded to metal and not feathered in to surrounding paint prior to being sealed and rattle canned. The good thing about this is you can see exactly how solid the exterior of the bus is. It would be a very easy bus to get prepped and painted properly.
Radio currently not hooked up, as gauge recently stopped working, and it needs two tires in the rear.
