1962 Volkswagen Beetle with Gas Heater

This vehicle was purchased by Gill Motor in 2002. It was brought to our shop and completely turned off and stored inside the showroom. I recently brought the vehicle out and got it running again. The vehicle runs and goes into gear. I have driven the vehicle on the lot only. I have not had the vehicle on the road due to no tags being on the vehicle. After sitting for this long it may need some other items addressed to make it road worthy. The body and underside are in great condition with no rust. Someone has repainted the car but did a really nice job on the restoration. I am not for sure if someone restored the seats but they are in really nice condition with no cracks in the vinyl. Front and rear chrome bumpers have minor pitting that should be able to be cleaned. This car has a rare gas heater under the front hood. I have not attempted to turn the heater on so can not promise it works. It is in extremely good shape though and someone with knowledge of how they work may be able to start it.Overall this would make someone a really nice vehicle. Whether you want to buy it to drive or to show this is a real head turner. We really hate to see this showpiece depart from Gill Motor but we are closing the doors after 30 years.
