1963 Classic VW Beetle(older restoration about 10 yrs ago)

The car was restored about 8 yrs agoand owned by an older professional female who lovingly drove it almost everyday up until just a few weeks ago. She bought it basically how you see it and duringthe time she owned it, ook really good care of it (receipts come with the car formostmaintenanceand repairs done to the car since aprox 2007) too.Awesome German survivor Type 1 Bu, ou just dont see everyday on the road.well, nless you are in Az where they dont rust, ou do see them more oftenthen most states :)BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Car really looks great in pics and in person Id say itsjust as nice. Its fun to drive and during the restoration in the mid 2000s It was painted with the red classic inlay ( Im pretty sure the original color wasjust all black). I was told the interior was redone with the nicer German restoparts (not sure how to verify that) but the interior is beautiful smells new.Also new seals etc where also done too thru out. As Im told, he car didnt needany major repairs during the resto, hey started with a nice solid 63 Bug andwhat you see now it how it came out when they where done. OUR 100% feedback rating is spot on, nd not just about parts we havebought on ebay, ut also reflects ALL the vehicles we have sold here onEbay for ourselves and local Az customers.We put more time and effort into our ads making it mucheasier for the potential buyers to bid with confidence.CHECK OUT OUR FEEDBACK, e sold a 1963 MGA last month for the sumamt of $15k and our feedback shows that too, mong many other vehiclesjust in the last few yrs here.

We try to show all the areas well inthe 100+ pics below.Desert SW cars are time capsules and the best kind to own !DRIVETRAIN:best we can tell its still a 1200 cc motor, ot sure if its the original or not.Fires up everytime you hop in and take it out. Very clean under the bonnettI was told the motor was restored during the resto, ut no way to really proveit at the moment.Manual transmission and clutch feel good too. Starts right up all the timeand drives down the road like an old Bug should. Just recently Ive noticed somegrinding but only when down shifting in I think 2nd gear but its not all the time.Also, hile sitting still idling, ometimes it grinds when putting it in 1st gear.It can be noisy but what to me is weird, t doesnt do it all the time. But it doesdo it more often then Id prefer. Any noise almost only ever comes when you aredown shiftin, ever noticed it while up shifting. Ive never adjusted the clutchso maybe thats all it needs, may check into that this week.so not sure if its clutch related or in the synchros butIts not horrible, ut maybe all old Bugs do this, ot really sure.It DOES not ever pop out of gear while driving.

INTERIOR: also restored..take a look, he interior is really nice and you can tell it was done well.It really looks great in picsand to me it looks as nice in person.A reverse lock was also installed many yrs agoas a theft deterrent.

Original Sapphire radio lights up but hasntworked since it was converted to 12v. Windows work like normal too.The car gets compliments everytime I drive it around town or to a local show.My understanding is that materials used in the interior resto, as the nicerstuff on the market from Germany. I cant verify that 100% but the last ownersaid he used the better quality parts available. It smells as nice as it looks :)

EXTERIOR: Restored Nicely ! again, believe the original color was black soduring the resto, he Red Inlay was applied for a nice classic look.. The body,chrome and trim all look really nice and this is actually one of those cars Id almostsay look better in person then the pics. The paint etc being about 10 yrs old andthe car being almost a daily isnt perfect, ut its really that nice up close.(unless its dirty, hich then shows all the dirt haha). Ive found a few small chipsin and around the body, ut they are hard to see. 1 thing to mention, he headlightsshould be adjusted, can tell they are a little off when driving at night.

SUSPENSION: basically bone stock suspension thats been taken careof over the years.It drives and handles great !, .and fun to cruise around in. Shocks feel normalIm sure some suspension repairs where done from normal wear and tear over the yrsduring the restoration. No weird clunks or noises and just smooth and easy to drive.Looks to have never been altered or messed with, eeping with the survivor theme onthis car. Not sure what shape all the bushings etc are all in, ut just driving it aroundtown as it sits, t feels like a normal older bug driving car.
