1966 VW "Bug" BEETLE Volkswagen CLASSIC- NO RUST thru- X SHOW CAR-pearl/blue

Engine needs rebuilding (Dual port F code),turns and starts but sounds like rod knocking-pan and heater boxes all look good- appears there was a small repair under battery box. Southern California car it's whole life. 1966 on a 60 pan.Dropped adjustable front end. New tires in rear, ronts are old but have tread.Titled as 1960. Has surface rust on hood and fenders andfew smalldings. It is one of the nicest rust free examples I have seen. NO VISIBLE RUST THRU ANYWHERE I SEE.Have no idea if the milesare correct but it looks like its possible. Previous owner had it 20 years.RARE POP OUT BACK WINDOWS and rear fold down back seat, adio delete. X show car with very little paint work to bring up to speed. White Pearl over blue metallic. Interior OK, mall tear in back seat and generally worn but look ok. New carpet set and beading included. Front looks like its never been crunched, ee pic's. Passenger side fender needs some small dents removed and repainted, ood has some surface rust needingremoved on edge. This is a great start for a nice resto, ost this age are roached rust buckets.Everything works but horn and brights. Has radio delete.
