1978 VW RABBIT DIESEL 2nd Owner Runs Great Very Original

We are selling 1 1978 Volkswagen Rabbit. The car is a two owner, ot repainted, 4 thousand mile original car. My friend bought the car from the original owners estate where it had sat in a wood floor barn for almost 20 years.The car was then completely serviced...every fuel system component was removed and cleaned, njection pump and injectors rebuilt by a professional diesel shop. The timing belt, ater pump and associated parts were all replaced and the timing set correctly. Itwas converted toan 02A 5 speed transmission for much better drivability especially on the highway! The car runs and drives great, eeds nothing mechanically. It has been averaging over 50 MPG on the highway. It does have some rust around the edges, owever there is absolutely no structural issues. The interior is original and in very good shape except the split in the driver seat bolster. It has been used as a summer only commuter for the last two years and has performed flawlessly.
