1969 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible 1512

1969 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible, Everything is still original on this car, xcept the paint. Mechanically it is in excellent shape and it could easily be a daily driver. This is a 1500cc low comp engine that made a whopping 44 bhp (DIN) when it was new. Convertible top is in excellent condition. The interior and body needs minor attention. There are a few very small places of rust beginning to surface on the body. Mileage is 107,667. Great collector car potential.

The inspection just ran out. The state plates are good but the insurance has run out. No known accidents. I did not find an options package report. It does have am/fm radio. The engine is original and the pics display that. I do not see signs of any body work. The driver's side door vent is missing its knob and the passenger side sun visor is missing its catch holder. The seats need to be reupholstered. There appears to be touch up paint in the door jams and a "run" on the front hood close to the bumper revealing a touch up. The bumpers both need to be re-chromed. The paint is faded all over.

All lights and electrical parts work. Tires are good and have decent tread. It is an auto shift model meaning it has no clutch but a stick shift with low, irst, nd second shifting options and reverse. That transmission is classified as an automatic. The convertible top operates perfectly. All suspension and frame is in excellent condition and driving and riding is very easy and smooth.
