1986 Volkswagen Jetta Base Sedan 4-Door 1.6L

1986 VW Jetta Diesel built in Germany !!

Mileage is around 130k. Headset cluster was been replaced with one of higher mileage.

This has been my project car but a move is FORCING me to sell all my toys.

I've been rebuilding it to be a reliable commuter that will run forever.

Things that I've done all with less than 500 miles on them.

Timing belt & Water pump

Valve cover gasket

Clutch cable

Starter & Ignition switch

Steering rack & Tie rod ends

Ball joints

4 new Tires

Brakes all 4 + rotors and drums.

Wheel bearings rear.

Coil-overs

Fuel filter & Oil & filter.

I have the following parts ... just haven't had the time.

Will go with the car IF IT REACHES $2000 ....

Turbo & intake

Oil pan to be drilled for turbo oil return. & gasket

Nice set of sporty rims with tires.

Passenger rear brake backing plate with brake cylinder.

Doesn't need to be replaced yet .... Picked it up for the future.

Lower Track control arm left & right.

Shifter linkage bushings

The proper gear oil for the brass type synchronizers in this transmission.

At higher rpm 3rd gear rubs, esearch says that proper gear oil will fix.

As well as shift linkage ... for alignment.

Front seat guide bushings

This car runs very well. It was going to be my vegetable commuter ...

New tires all around, ut one rim is slightly warped so a little bouncy.

I have a full size spare just doesn't have a new tire on it.

I have the original hubcaps in good condition.

Body is in good shape, ooks like a Maaco paint job.... Flat gold.

Missing a couple peaces of exterior body trim, asily found though. ...

Interior is in good shape with no cracks in dash but ...

Back seat doesn't match, /p>

Door panels could be reconditioned,

Sun visor clips are broken

The only light on the dash is the water temp light flashes .... But this car doesn't over heat and runs properly.

Has A/C but doesn't work, ot sure if its just a charge or more.

I know I'm missing a few things but I'll add them as they come to mind.
