1972 Vw Westfalia poptop

I am offering up a great 1972 Westfalia Poptop Camper . This camper was originally purchased in Escondido, alifornia where it spent most of its life before making its way to the Northwest. As far as I know I am the 3rd owner . The previous owner before me owned for over 10 years and always garaged the bus . So it has never spent a winter outside . And was rarely used through out that time but for a weekend get awa, r an outdoor concert . The bus has been very well cared for . The bus has a 1700cc motor that was rebuilt at 16,000 on the odometer . It is now showing 23,000 so there is very low miles on the engine . It has a single progressive weber carb, nd runs very well .

The tires are like brand ne, ransmission shifts perfec, nd drives down the road very nice and tight . The condition of the body is extremely clea, ooks to have been repainted at some poin, y guess is its about 20 years old . but still shines very wel, he body is very solid and looks to have had two small metal patches on the front floor at some point . The paint shows its age a little with some chips and blemishes . But really looks way better than most I see out there these days .

The interior camper kit is very nic, ell cared for and all there . Has sink ice bo, et for rear door & camper owners manual . A couple of the cushions were redone at some point . has curtains throughout . Poptop canvas is in good condition also for its age . Upper hammock needs new canvas . I believe those can be bought through gowesty.

Overall this is an extremely nice Westfali, ot many this good out there these days . This bus is turn key . Buy and head out on priceless adventures . It has been well cared for, nd it shows .
