Car description

Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this attractive GT-6 in a vibrant color scheme. This car was recently purchased from Texas where it was cosmetically restored about 6-7 years ago and was never really enjoyed that much since. Recently, the car was removed from storage and purchased by us. IT runs and drives well, but probably could benefit from a gearbox overhaul. The body on this car appears very good all around, finished with a modest/decent paint job in this attractive custom color you see here. Panel gapping looks quite good. The panels all open and shut fine. The front windshield is in good shape and looks newer, along with very nice front and rear screen seals. Brightwork looks original and in very decent shape. The car's interior trim has been nicely reupholstered in quality dark blue vinyl and navy carpets and looks to be a very nice job overall. The seats looks great and are very supportive. All of the car's interior panels have been renewed along with a good fitting carpet set. The headliner is in great condition. The addition of a perfect wood dashboard would really finish the inside of the car off beautifully. Most all of the instruments are functioning correctly. New door seals have been added.Mechanically, the car's engine appears to be very healthy and clean sitting in a well-detailed engine bay, and pulls strong out on the road. Brakes, suspension and steering all feel very good as there is evidence in the past of plenty of brake and suspension work/rebuilding. The tire set is new. The car drives decently but could benefit from a gearbox overall, as I found the bearings to be a bit noisy and gearstick action sloppy, but syncros were OK. The car's underside looks completely solid and rustfree. The front of both floors look to be repaired well. The car includes some restoration and new tune-up parts, literature, old radio, owner's manual, original jack/handle/tools in the factory bag, extra steering wheel.Overall, an honest, attractive, and desirable GT-6 MK3 Coupe in nice colors that has been cosmetically restored, only needing some minor mechanicals to make it a reliable driver for the road. These fun and stylish little coupes with their high revving 6-cylinder engine are rising stars in this affordable car market.
