1966 Triumph TR4A H12, Safford, AZ ENTHUSIAST MOTORS LLC 1610 S 1ST AVE, Safford, AZ 85546 (833) 386-2279 1966 Triumph TR4A H12
Mechanically the car is in great condition, It underwent a full restoration by the previous owner who was a retired airline pilot and a extremely meticulous individual. The 2.1L engine starts easily and runs flawlessly, It has good power and crisp throttle response. A tune up was preformed a few months ago including changing of all the fluids in the car, resealing multiple leaks on the engine and transmission and checking valve lash. I have taken this car on countless weekend backroad drives as well as multiple trips on the interstate without any issue and wouldn't hesitate to drive this car coast to coast. Thanks to the factory equipped electronic overdrive this car can cruise comfortably at 80 MPH and has no problem keeping up with modern traffic. The transmission is in good working order, quiet and when shifted properly doesn't grind when changing gears.
The interior is in good condition as well showing only minor wear from use and slight fading from the sun on the carpets. All of the gauges and switches work as they should and the burled walnut dash is in fantastic condition with only a small chip on the glove box door. Three point seatbelts where installed by the previous owner.
Cosmetically the car presents well but wasn't treated to the best paint job when it was restored. the paint is still quite presentable but is showing some chipping and scratches from normal use and slight surface rust in spots (pictured). The chrome and brightwork on the car is in excellent condition, so is all of the glass and the convertible top. With a paint job and fresh carpet this would be a car capable of bringing home trophies at local shows. The chassis and undercarriage of the car is rust free and in good condition as well.
This is a excellent opportunity to own a amazingly fun and dependable classic British roadster without breaking the bank.
