The TR6 was introduced in January 1969, using similar chassis and running gear components to those used in the TR5/TR250. However, the bodywork, while retaining some elements of the TR5/TR250 design, was externally restyled by Karmann most notably recognized by the way the front and back ends are squared off. The TR6 destined for the U.S. market featured a carbureted inline six-cylinder engine. The Triumph TR6 was the best-seller of the TR range built by Triumph when production ended in July of 1976. This TR6 comes from a local client and recently taken on trade for another vehicle in our inventory. All body lines are in very good shape and show no signs of any major accidents or damage. The TR6 runs and drives and has a solid shell. As with many of these TR6s of this era, this TR6 would benefit from some further mechanical and cosmetic maintenance and would make for an excellent driving touring car. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS TR6 IS IN NEED OF A COMPLETE RE-PAINT AND INTERIOR RESTORATION.
