BEFORE you bid. Make sure you have done your homework before not after you bought it. Make sure you have the money before not after the auction and lastlymake sure whoever makes the decisions to buy says YES. Before not after the auction.
This is my third time auctioning the car the last two bidders backed out without ever coming and looking at the TR6. It is worth putting back on the road. Ok now about the TR6.
NO RESERVE - 1972 Triumph TR6 Convertible Barn Find. RUNNING, drivesand stops. Damson Red Exterior, Tan Interior andBlackConvertible. 2.5L 106 HP 6 cyl. with 4 Speed trans. AM/FM radio in glove box(inop), BF Goodrich 205/75/15 Tires and correct TR6 Wheels. ODO 95902 (original). VIN CC77022

Surprisingly this classicTriumph starts very easily. Runs, drives and stops and E brake holds. There is a U Joint clunk that spoils the ride. On startup oil pressure goesright up to 70 lbs. and after reaching water temp it stay there (amazing).
This classic Triumph hasall the usual rust issues. Frame is solid but trialing armshave soft spot (in pix), fenders, doors andquarters appear solid as does trunk area. Check out pictures they show rust. Come and check out this amazing project car for yourself.
Parts are readilyavailable for these TR6 from MOSS, for one. To haveit running after all the years is a Plus.
