Car description

Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this good driver condition TR-6. This car was previously purchased from it's long term Florida owner who improved the car mechanically including rebuilding the cylinder head, fuel system, braking system, clutch hydraulics, ignition tune up and cooling, upgraded valve cover, etc. As a result, the car runs and drives well. It's in a wonderful, original-looking condition and really doesn't need much to be enjoyed right away. The body on this car is in very good condition overall. It has it's fair share of dings and small dents, showing that it's been used and enjoyed in the past, but has been well-preserved and remains largely unrestored. Panel gaps are excellent with very nice fit. Paitwork is nice and glossy, but is showing some slight age in some areas and some portions of a repaint. The car's interior is nice and usable with comfortable seats. The dash appears original and could use some crash pads replacing, which new parts are provided with the car. The older Robbins top fits well and is in good condition, keeping in with the condition of the rest of the car. There is also the original black top boot and tonneau in great condition included.Mechanically, the car is in good health. It starts on the key with little smoke on choke, but warms quickly and cleans up into a nice idle. Oil pressure is superb. The engine revs really well and smooth, which is signature for these early cars. The gearbox, brakes, clutch, steering all feel fine and the car drives pretty good down the road on it's nearly new tire set. The car feels like it's been maintained and taken care of all of it's life.Overall, a nice original and honest TR-6 in good colors, that's ready to be enjoyed for spring.
