1974 TRIUMPH TR-6. COMPLETELY NEW PAINT, INTERIOR, TOP, TIRES, ETC. EXCELLENT.

Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this extremely nice TR-6 convertible finished in it's original colors of Mimosa yellow with black trim. This car was recently sourced from it's Triumph club owner in the Pacific Northwest. It has been thoughtfully and lovingly restored a few years ago, with plenty of receipts to accompany it. It has been driven and enjoyed sparingly since the restoration with test miles to prove it's reliability.The bodywork and paintwork on this car has been finished to a very good level, similar to factory quality or even a bit better. Body gaps are excellent, to original specifications, as there are no signs of damage or rust anywhere. All of the panels open and shut properly. The car's brightwork and body fittings appear to be very nice originals. The wheel set has been reconditioned with new stainless beauty rims and new tires fitted. The spare remains the original Michelin Red Line tire.The car's comfortable interior has been completely renewed with all quality items including panel kit, carpet kit, correct Ambla seat kit, new soft top and top boot, 3-point inertia reel seat belt set, excellent dash pads, new tinted windshield with gasket, door seals, scraper rubber and fuzzys, solid teak dash wood, etc.Mechanically, the car starts easily on the key with a great sounding exhaust, no noises, has good clutch and brake action, very nice gearbox, and drives happily, smoothly, and safely down the road without any fuss. The engine compartment is clean and nicely detailed. The exhaust appears newer.This car includes a lifting jack and handle, tool bag, new Robert Bentley workshop manual, and receipts from the restoration.Overall, an excellent well-preserved TR-6 that's been nicely and correctly restored in it's original colors. This car is very comfortable and user friendly, and runs and drives very well. Surely this car is good value, and is just in time to be enjoyed for spring/summer.
