Car description |
---|
The first owner of the car was Zorana "Lola" Novaković, the famous Serbian singer, hugely popular during the 1960s and the 1970s. Internationally, she is most notable for having represented FPR Yugoslavia at Eurovision Song Contest in 1962 where she finished fourth.
When Lola was driving it it was a deep wine red color with a purple tone.
But the cars musical history didn't stop there. It continued as the eye-cacher of Yugoslavian pop stars in the hands of Daniel PopoviÄ, a Croatian-Montenegrin pop singer, who with his hit song "Juli" (the album of which sold 717,166 copies while the single sold another 80,883) equaled the record Lola had set by finishing fourth in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1983.
He further stylized the car by repainting it to how it looks today.
