Car description |
---|
1964 Triumph Herald 1200 Convertible Blue over Blue Interior with Black Convertible Top. 4 Cylinder engine with twin SU Carburetors and manual transmission.
This is an older restoration having been recently brought out of a British collection and 20 year storage. Not a barn find but more of a warehouse discovery. Still retains its last inspection sticker from August 2000. Looks a lot like the Harry Potter flying car. But of course that was a very similar looking Ford Anglia.
Currently in very presentable drivable condition with the necessary work having been done to get it road ready. Recent work includes but is not limited to a complete tune up, rebuilt carbs, new fuel pump, new brake master cylinder, all new wheel cylinders and brake hoses, new clutch master cylinder and new slave cylinder and new convertible top. Will still need a few things (like new tires) if serious motoring is planned. And temp gauge is currently not working. So still plenty of things to attend to if you were looking for a project.
Comes as well with all of the factory equipment like full tonneau cover, soft top boot when the top is down, spare tire and even a Triumph Herald workshop manual.
Please ask all questions prior to bidding. Inspections are encouraged and must be completed prior to auction end. A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end. Sold as is with no warranties either expressed or implied.
