Car description

This is a very special TR7. It is one of the very few, super powerful V8 builds. Only the best parts have been used building this car.
I bought this car 4 years ago and have enjoyed roughly 13,000 trouble free miles. The car is special in many ways. Born in 1977 as a TR7, it was restored and upgraded around 2010 for Senator Mike Carrel of Seattle,WA. According to Clint from The Wedge Shop, they helped building the engine and gave me the expected hp rating wit, quote: at least 325 crank hp.
To my understanding, the senator passed away 2013. The guy I bought it from claimed it came out of the estate.
Here is a list of work performed and stuff used:
Engine: 4.9L Rover cross bolted block 325hp 300ft/lbs
Crank: 1964 Buick 300
Rods: 327 Chevy, shot peened and polished
Pistons: 305 Chevy flat top hypereutectic
Hardware: ARP throughout entire engine
Heads: 1964 Buick 300 ported and polished 1.7" intake, 1.5" exhaust valves with Crane high lift valve springs
Cam: Custom ground ERSON with double timing chain
Intake: Edelbrock
Carb: Edelbrock 500 with 1" spacer and K&N filter. It was originally build with a Edelbrock 600. I changed that for more balanced driving with increased low end torque.
Exhaust: Tubular Stainless Steel 4-2-1 headers, stainless Flowmaster x-pipe, stainless mandrel bent pipes and Flowmaster mufflers
Front engine cover: TA high performance
Oil Pump: High pressure/volume oil passages ported
Ignition: Mallory Unilite and wires
Transmission TR8 with 1981 5th gear (.79:1) Offset Ford flywheel and clutch 5.0
Differential: 1980 TR8 3.08:1
Brakes: 4 piston Land Rover front, TR8 drums rear
Steering: TR8 power rack and pinion
Suspension: rear- modified 4 link with TS 200lbs springs and GAZ struts/shocks
Strut tower brace: TS
Sway bar: TS heavy duty
all poly bushings
Wheels: Rota 15x7 with Yokohama high performance tires
Remote oil filter and cooler with thermostat.
Glas top: electric slide and lift Webasto
The car is fast, very fast and corners like a go cart but is comfortable at the same time. I never raced the car, but a friend owns a Factory Five 818 and when we are having fun on curvy Ozark roads, it takes all he got to keep up with this car. This car is fun, fun, fun. The interior has lots of room, I'm 6'2"and I am very comfortable driving it, even on long trips. The interior was new at time of build and still looks new with a beautiful real wood trim kit. There is no known issues other that the silver paint job is not well done. I refinished the top when installing the new glass top. Its a 3 stage PPG that looks BRG in the sun and black otherwise. The car also has a brand new windshield mounted flush for better appearance. The cold air intake, currently mounted, works well. The buyer also receives a stock hood if he wants the stock appearance.
Please ask any question you might have prior to bidding. I'll be glad to answer. Test drive and inspection prior to bidding is always recommended. Yes, you can fly in and drive it home.
As for all vintage cars, no warranties.
