Offering my 1958 Triumph TR3A, I have owned this car almost 20 years and have had a great time with it. The last 5 years I have lost interest and have not driven the much at all.
The Good: The car comes with many options, factory hard top w/good rear perspex, rear occasional seat, ash tray, lucas driving and fog lamps, chrome wire wheels, hand crank, engine rebuilt by Autosports, Inc Bloomington, Indiana in 2005 maybe 1500 mile. Both driver and passenger floors are rust free as well as the rear boot. 4 speed transmission non synchro 1st gear “ No overdrive”, rack and pinion steering and spin off oil filter, hood stick cover, tonneau cover, soft top with clear rear window. Also a British Heritage Certificates comes with the car.
The Bad: The car will need a tune up as it has become a little difficult to start cold, the tires are 19 years old and have developed flat spots and the suspension needs a rebuild, there is a gouge in the paint near the rear boot attachment, it has been filled in with the same color. And one of my brighter moves was to open the front boot with the wipers up, result 2 inch scratch that has been filled in. The fuel gauge is erratic not sure if it’s the gauge or the sending unit.
A $1000.00 deposit will be required within 2 day of auctions end.
